I care strongly about the earth and whatever is on it. The beauty the earth carries will always be a mystery, but I find clay to be magical, and it needs to be protected. For a potter, clay is life. In the process of this project, I have become more aware, and it frustrates me that I wasn’t trying hard enough to protect my home. Plastic way is my cry to the toxic effects of plastic wastage in the water and soil. That being said I’m not perfect, I’m not suddenly a superhuman but I’m trying. So this work acts as a reminder to myself and everyone around me about the effects of plastic waste.
